| Cowiche Creek Nursery was established in 1989 when a hobby began to take over our lives. We started making our own baskets after a trip to Victoria, B.C. Canada. Determined to create the same look here in the Yakima Valley, we started mixing our own soil and planting our own baskets. People began to stop by the house and ask where we had purchased our hanging baskets. One year we made a few extra baskets and sold them to co-workers. The next year we received orders from those same people and their neighbors. A business was born! We are located in the foothills of the upper Yakima Valley near the south fork of the Cowiche Creek. We are surrounded by orchards on three sides with the Cowiche Conservatory directly across the road. |
