Down To Earth Distributors – Since 1977
Founded in Eugene, Oregon, in 1977, Down To Earth began with a simple idea: offer practical, well-made products that support a more natural and sustainable way of living.
As interest in organic gardening grew, we began blending natural fertilizers in our retail shop to give gardeners an effective alternative to conventional synthetic products. What started locally has grown into a nationwide wholesale distribution business, a manufacturing facility, and a longtime Eugene retail store—all while remaining locally owned and committed to the values that shaped us from the beginning.
Today, Down To Earth Distributors serves independent retailers across the country with a thoughtfully curated assortment of products for the garden, home and kitchen. From growing and tending to harvesting, preparing and preserving, our goal is to provide durable, useful products that help people make the most of what they grow and the spaces they call home.
Practical Goods for Natural Living
“Practical Goods for Natural Living” reflects our approach to product selection: useful, enduring goods chosen with quality, function and materials in mind. Our assortment includes products made from materials such as glass, ceramic, cast iron, wood, bamboo, stainless steel and other durable, reusable or naturally derived materials.
We strive to offer products that are practical enough for everyday use, distinctive enough for independent retailers, and built to be enjoyed for years to come.
