Started by three brothers in 1968 Colony Nursery grows a wide variety of field and container grown material. Now operated by longtime employee Travis Burke and business partner Clinton Smay, we offer a growing selection of Japanese Maples, Laurel, Boxwood, Conifers, and a specimen Bamboo line.
Situated in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Colony Nursery offers a broad mix of conifers, evergreen and deciduous shrubs, broadleaf evergreens, and bamboo. Specializing in grafted conifers and ornamentals, Colony Nursery offers a diverse product mix ideal for independent garden centers, and re-wholesalers.
Over the past 40 years, Colony has offered primarily field grown B&B plant material. Colony has grown to over 180 acres of field production, and has recently added an additional pot-n-pot farm that will enable us to offer more container grown material going forward.
