The American Root Company is a small Oregon-based mycorrhizal company owned and operated by Zack Amaranthus. Founding the Big Foot ® brand in 2016, Zack continues to carry on his father, Dr. Mike Amaranthus legacy. The company has grown from supplying the small Southern Oregon farmers market out of the garage to large-scale production and internation distribution. The company operates as a small business but produces like a multi-tiered large manufacturer. Humans still answer the phones, fix the issues, support the customers, and guide the brand.
