Huckleberry Gardens was founded by Patty Mulligan and Jane MacKinnon in 2024. The nursery was established because of the two owners’ love of plants and nature. The owners share an ethos of beautifying their customer’s homes and supporting their local community.
Jane and Patty share an extensive knowledge of plants and believe in inclusivity with plants and especially with people. They love to foster backyard naturalists by encouraging the art of observing and curiosity in ordinary things. Customers will find both natives and exciting cultivars to enhance their own yards and backyard ecosystems. The nursery hosts classes year-round with recent topics on water conservation, container design, and bulb planting.
Since opening Huckleberry Gardens has made a positive impact in Burien, to educate, inspire, and guide gardeners of every experience level.
