NNBA Summer Tour
July 13 & 14, 2010
North Portland & Vancouver
Day 1: Workshop Day
We are teaming up with Monrovia Nursery and other NNBA vendors
for a program on “Merchandising and Displaying in a Garden Center”.
In the morning we will travel to Monrovia Nursery where Aaron Shiver,
Visual Merchandiser and Outdoor Lifestyle Designer for Monrovia
Nursery will do a presentation. After lunch at Monrovia we will travel to
The Garden Corner where displays will be set up in a “Real” Garden
Center. There will be a 20 minute presentation from each vendor on
how to build a display and sell their products in an actual garden
center.
Day 2: Garden Center Tour in Northern Portland and Vancouver
We will be visiting area garden centers and will have Aaron on the bus
to share more of his design talent. A great educational tour to send
your employees on. More detailed information to come.
